Stop wasting money on exfoliating products. Today we'll explain step by step how to make a miraculous homemade scrub that will completely renew your skin in less than a week.
We often make the mistake of thinking that the most expensive products on the market are the best. This is due to the brilliant marketing team behind those products. But if we open our minds a little, we might realize that the best products are those that we mostly throw away from our own kitchens.
Today I'm going to explain how you can make a miraculous homemade exfoliant that will leave your skin clean, soft, and glowing.
But first I'm going to give you some of the reasons why you should exfoliate your skin at least twice a week;
Reason number one: Exfoliating our skin allows us to eliminate the dead cells that periodically accumulate.
Reason number two: Exfoliating our skin also allows us to renew it, because by doing so we stimulate the release of toxins through the pores.
Reason number three: By exfoliating our skin we give it a uniform appearance, free of annoying bumps such as cellulite and ingrown hairs.
Reason number four: Exfoliating the skin also works as an anti-aging therapy, as doing so activates circulation and also promotes oxygenation.
Now that you know the wonders that exfoliating can do!
We will explain how to prepare it:
Ingredients
A cup of the coffee left in the coffee maker.
Six tablespoons of organic honey.
Three tablespoons of brown sugar.
Ten drops of jojoba oil.
Once you have the coffee from your coffee maker, spread it on a serving plate over three layers of absorbent paper and let it sit in the open air. This will allow the coffee to dry completely, returning it to its natural, semi-coarse state.

Once the coffee is dry, you can add it to the jar where you will store the scrub. It is important that the jar has a tightly fitting lid. This will prevent air from entering the scrub and causing bacteria to form inside it.
Once the coffee is added, proceed to add the tablespoons of honey. Honey, depending on its origin, usually has different consistencies. That's why we recommend using organic honey, as it tends to have a more liquid consistency, which is what we're looking for in this scrub.
Once we have mixed the coffee and honey in our jar, we proceed to make circular movements to make both products into a single product.
It's important that at this point we have a slightly more liquid consistency because we still need to add the three tablespoons of brown sugar. If you feel that your scrub is still too solid, you can add more honey, but not water.
We proceed to repeat the same step, using circular movements until we create a homogeneous mixture, and finally, we add 10 drops of jojoba oil to our exfoliant.
Ideally, you should use jojoba oil and not any other type of oil because jojoba oil, in addition to being a favorite for the skin, has antioxidant properties. This makes this oil considered an extremely effective product for preventing wrinkles at an early age and is also a noble product for treating both sensitive and oily skin.
Once we've prepared our scrub, it's important to keep it refrigerated. The products we find at the supermarket usually contain preservatives, which prevent them from decomposing under different environments. However, our scrub, being 100% natural, doesn't contain this property.
Therefore, it is important that we keep it tightly sealed and refrigerated. Ideally, we should take it out when we go to bathe and put it on a separate plate to always have it refrigerated. If we use it this way, our exfoliant can last up to three weeks. However, if we keep it in the shower, agents such as water vapor could cause bacteria and fungi to grow inside it that we would not be able to see, and applying it could cause long-term problems for our skin.
Like any chemical and natural product, before using it, we recommend that you do an allergy test on the back of your wrist;
Apply the product as you normally would to your body and wait to see how it reacts the next day to ensure it's compatible with your skin type.
And with this simple recipe you can have beautiful, radiant skin!
